Work for a meaningful company and use your skills and talent to make a difference.Current vacancies
We are looking to recruit people who want to use their skills and experience for social good.
You have probably ended up on our website because you typed in something like 'work for a caring company' or 'jobs that help change the world' or something similar. Great start! Because that's what we are trying to do with OUR skills and talent - we want to make a difference.
Hopefully, you have had a look around and you like what you see. So what now? Well, before emailing us or sending over your CV, you might want to think about this first. We want people who care. You could be really good at what you do (well done you!) but in all honesty couldn't give two figs about climate change, obesity, gun crime and so on. If this is you, good luck, but we won't be taking your application forward. Wanting to change something through your work is top of our wish list. If this is you, read on!
In addition to interesting and potentially life changing projects to work on, we offer our team the following:
We like to look after our people because we believe happiness means delivering a better quality of life for everyone in our team.
We’ve got discounts and freebies from some of the UK’s biggest brands, so our team can enjoy more of the things they love. This includes cut-price cinema tickets, a free coffee every month at Cafe Zero, 5% off at Sainsbury's, discounts on train travel and holidays, free mobile phone insurance and much, much more!
We believe our staff can only perform at their best if they are looked after - physically and emotionally.
It’s important to look after yourself. That’s why we give our staff exclusive savings on gym memberships, dental insurance, health cover and more.
Starting September 2018
In partnership with Lincoln College, we are hiring a Digital Marketing Apprentice to support our growing marketing division. If you are interested in starting your career at Social Change UK, or you wish to change track and start a career in marketing, please get in touch. We are interviewing potential candidates in August 2018.
Please note: the position will be based at our Lincoln office.
Do you have experience in marketing and PR?
We will shortly be going out to advert for a Marketing and PR Account Manager. Experience in a similar role or environment is required. Please check back soon for further information on this post or follow us on our social channels to be the first to hear when the advert goes live.
Can you take our product from build to completion and onwards to market?
We are building our Diabetes Virtual School and we are looking for a programme lead to take this project from build to completion and onwards to market. Ideally, the candidate for this role will have a good understanding of Diabetes, or diet and lifestyle behaviour change. They will have experience in managing projects, working with patients, public or customers to design solutions and be keen to innovate and push the boundaries to achieve the best possible outcomes.
A full job description and person spec is in development but if this is a role you think will suit your skills and experience (and you have a passion for change) then please email us your CV.
As a social purpose business, we love to give back. One of the ways we do this is through our work experience programme.
Twice a year, we offer a placement for students to join our team for a fixed period of time. During your time here, you will get a flavour of working within a fast-paced environment that will expose you to different skill development opportunities. As we are a multi-disciplinary team, we are able to offer work experience across PR and marketing, research and design.
Because we are a small business, we can only commit a certain amount of time in order to give you our full attention when you’re with us. We have two options for your work experience placement:
Option A: A one day a week work experience programme across five weeks (two placements offered per year).
Option B: A five-day intensive work experience week (this is available May – August and is limited to one placement).
If you would like a longer placement, please do let us know as this can be negotiated. If you are interested in work experience, please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and a member of staff will reply to your enquiry.
